Mooring Masters –
GTS provides Mooring Masters on long-term as well as short term contracts to offshore oilfields within the Gulf, the service offered being second to none in our experience in tandem moorings associated with FPSO (Floating Production Storage Offshore) and SBM berthing. We have operational experience at the following locations:

Qatar - GAC Transfer Services (GTS) first began carrying out tandem mooring operations in November 1995 at a terminal off Qatar . The liftings were about one a month at the time, and have since increased to one every other day. To date we have carried out around 1,003 tandem operations at this terminal as contractual work and about 100 tandem operations at a second terminal in Qatar .

Iran - In January 2002 we commenced training pilots in tandem mooring operations at a terminal off Iran . During this period we carried out 35 operations in a supervisory capacity based on our contract.

Thailand - GAC Transfer Services has been subcontracted from November 2003 for operations at an Oilfield in Thailand . Our Mooring Masters undergo training in order to obtain Oil Major approval before carrying out any operations in the field. GTS carry out four operations on an average per month.

Malaysia - GAC Transfer Services was also subcontracted from November 2003 for a Marine Terminal in Malaysia . The field is located between Malaysia and Vietnam approximately 200 kilometres off the North-East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. GTS carried out four operations on an average per month.

Mauritania - GAC Transfer Services were subcontracted from 2006 to carry out tandem mooring operations for a period of one year. The liftings were about one a month.
